We are looking for exceptional people to hire at Kustermans. This will be one of the more challenging yet fun jobs you’ll have! We provide the community with agricultural entertainment through school and group tours, birthday parties, corporate events, berry picking, sunflower fields, pumpkin patch, farm market, our large adventure farm and so much more!
Every day and season is different! We believe in cross training most team members so you will have the opportunity to work in different areas. However, this is not for everyone so if you like the idea of holding the same role there are also options for that as well.
As a team member you will interact directly with people who are looking for a fun filled friendly experience! It will be YOUR job to go above and beyond to make our guests day and create memories they will remember forever.
Important Note
You will only be considered for an interview if your resume and cover letter is submitted as well as the application google form. Successful applicants will receive an email with a date for group interviews
Requirements
Applicants for all positions must be available for work from May 1st to October 31st (we understand that school runs through June and we will accommodate during the weekdays for students for the months of May and June).
Summer Season
We expect employees to be available for at least 20 hours a week during the summer.
Fall Season
We expect employees to be available at least one weekend day in the fall.
Winter Season
Being available for the winter season is recommended but not essential.

Market Bakers
Market Bakers are responsible for preparing all food and beverages for the day while ensuring minimal waste. They lead the market team in completing daily tasks and may assist with customer service during busy periods.
Responsibilities

Market Services
Market Customer Service team members assist guests in the market store and help with food prep. They provide friendly, efficient service while managing the POS system and cash during busy periods.
Responsibilities
- Serve all guests with kindness and efficiency
- Answer guest questions about farm products, food, and gifts
- Assist the baker with daily tasks
- Keep workspaces clean and organized
- Perform other duties as assigned

BBQ Food Prep
BBQ Team Members prepare and serve food while maintaining quality and safety standards. You’ll assist with cooking, support the team during busy times, and ensure guests receive friendly and efficient service throughout.

Admissions TEAM
Admissions staff greet guests with a smile, handle ticketing and wristbands, and answer questions about farm activities. You’ll manage POS transactions, explain policies, and help keep entry flow smooth and welcoming.Responsibilities

- Handle ticket sales, passes, or wristbands

Train Driver
Train drivers are responsible for creating a fun and memorable experience for the children while on the train ride. They will be enthusiastic and animated with the children. They will follow all of the train rules to ensure the safety of everyone.
Responsibilities
- Greeting guests as they arrive for a train ride
- Safely operate the train along designated routes
- Ensure all passengers follow safety guidelines
- Assist guests with loading on and off the train
- Understanding of the farm to answer the guests
- Keeping the workspaces clean and tidy
- Perform other related duties as assigned

Tractor Driver
Tractor drivers are responsible for creating a fun and memorable experience for the guests on the wagon ride.They will follow all of the tractor rules to ensure the safety of everyone.
Responsibilities
- Ensure guests follow safety rules during rides
- Maintain tractors and report any issues
- Assist other team members as needed
- Bring customers to and from the fields in a safe and timely manner
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Age 18+
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean record
- Must have experience with tractors/farm equipment

Field Showing
Field showing staff are responsible for greeting customers as they unload from the tractor. They will lead the customer to their picking spot and explain how to pick. They have a good understanding of the grounds and crops.

- Ensure all guests are greeted with kindness in a time efficient manner
- Have an understanding of the farm to answer the guests questions
- Maintain clean and organized fields and pathways

Field Cash
Greet customers as they leave the fields, count berries or pumpkins, and charge accurately. You’ll handle POS transactions, manage cash in busy moments, and assist guests with baskets, wheelbarrows, and questions.

- Serve guests courteously and efficiently

Bloober Mascot
This role focuses on creating fun, memorable moments for guests while wearing the farm’s character costume. You’ll interact with families, pose for photos, keep energy high, and bring the farm’s characters to life.

- Attend photo opportunities and events
- Follow safety and costume guidelines

Day Camp Counselor
This role is ideal for responsible senior students who enjoy working with children. It offers practical experience for those interested in teaching, ECE, child development, or recreation while supporting campers each day.Responsibilities
- Ensure camper safety and act as a positive role model
- Support daily programs including crafts, baking, sports, and games
- Supervise Before & After Camp activities
- Take attendance and ensure proper pick‑up

Cleaning Crew members maintain cleanliness across the farm, keeping food prep areas, bathrooms, and guest spaces tidy. You’ll help ensure a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for all visitors.

- Clean and sanitize assigned areas daily
- Empty trash and maintain proper waste disposal
- Assist with general farm upkeep as needed
- Report any maintenance or safety issues

Event Crew
Event Crew members help set up, operate, and break down Ribbit Rentals and other farm activities, ensuring a safe and fun guest experience. The role may also include face painting, glitter tattoos, and balloon twisting during events.Responsibilities
